"Is the reward high enough to risk your life for?"

Be a pirate, be a trader, be a businessmen, or be a king. Own your own army, own your own empire, or just be the most famous person in the galaxy. We are presenting you a world where anything would be possible. World with no limits and no rules, but the ones you create. You will be the one who makes deals, the one who sells illegal goods, or the one who is hunting a famous criminal across many star systems. You will lie, steal or kill if it is necessary. Sometimes to save your own life, and sometimes just because it pays well.

In 3rd World you will be able to enjoy two different game environments. One in Space, and another one on Space stations. While driving your ship in outer space, inside stations you will have your own player character. You will be able to interact with other players, trade with them, make deals, and fight them. 3rd World universe will be made out of star systems which will be reachable through hyperdrive engine systems.

3rd World's game system is based on complex module system. Every single entity (or object) in the game will have it's own module, and because of that will be a subject of constant upgrades and changes. The system will provide multitasking capabilities and allow simultaneous execution of totally different modules (SpaceICQ, SpaceMail, SpaceChat, etc.). The system is also providing a way to add new modules to the game in real-time, and use them as if they have been there from the beginning. The game system that will feature two different game engines and modes of play. One is full 3D environment in space, and other one is isometric-3D environment in side space stations. Modules system is the base of everything in the game. This means we will provide constant upgrades and changes to the system even after the official game launch, providing in that way never-ending fun for our future players.

SpaceLOG is a place where every important action of a player is been logged. When a player kills another player, when he sells or buys something, when he gives or takes EXP points, when he starts a fight, when he does any other important action, that action is saved into SpaceLOG file at server. Every user has the right to view his log file. He will also have an option to send a part of his log to another player. This option will be handled directly through the SpaceLOG module. When another player receives part of someone else log file he'll get "Exclusive SpaceLOG transmission" message. In that way he'll be certain that the actual event really occurred.

Comments: Jumping into the Sci-Fi, space genre is this upcoming title from Europe where you have entire galaxies to explore. Based on using both 2d and 3d graphics, and stating that through the use of a modular system it would not be a system resource hog. Fully customizable ships which allow you to upgrade weapons, engines, etc. to owning your own space station. Forget castles! Explore space, become a merchant or a pirate. Dock your ship, and explore the space stations with an avatar. Space stations even have multiple rooms, including medical bays, and engine rooms. Travel through space is a risky venture as well, due to boarding actions that have been discussed possibly making it into the game upon release.

Development on 3rd World was announced late in the year 2000 as a title that quickly gained attention in the Sci-Fi genre of MMO gaming. Grabbing interviews on several of the major gaming sites, it has slowly died off. Message boards hosted by Vault, with no news updates to the main site in over six months or interaction of any type on the boards all that can be done at this time is write the game off to what could have been.

With other titles in development, backed by the power of money, this would be a game that could possibly offer an alternative away from the “Corporate” publishers.
