As all other Uber Uniques in Diablo 4, is extremely powerful and very hard to find. Besides the strong base affixes, its passive unique effect defines the incredible potential of this item:
When killing an Elite enemy while wielding , players will get one of seven possible Diablo 4 Shrine effects. It is safe to say that, while the Greed Shrine may be the only “low roll” in this scenario, all other six shrine effects more or less trivialize current in-game content. All Shrine buffs have a 30-second duration – combine this with ‘s 30-second internal cooldown, and you’re looking at potentially infinite Shrine buffs during a dungeon run. Yes, ‘s massive +4 Ranks to all Skills sounds powerful – but everyone who experienced the sheer amount of damage a Conduit or Artillery Shrine can add knows that this silly hat pales in comparison.

However, it still looks stronger than the Diablo 4 Placeholder Staff some players found shortly after the release of Diablo 4’s Patch 1.1.0. Imagine looking at an Uber Unique with a cosmically low drop chance in your mortal hands – which has zero stats! Shorty after the first reports of bugged drops, Blizzard swiftly removed the placeholder item from the game’s loot table.
