In a completely different kind of PvP, cdew plotted and executed the death of guildmate, Bean. At the beginning of the Scholomance dungeon, cdew pulled multiple packs, leaving Bean to die an unfortunate death, steps away from the exit.
After weeks of struggle, Esfand finally made it to level 20 on his Enhancement Shaman, and celebrated with a live mariachi band, friends, and cake.
Along with a raid full of level 1 Orcs, Laeppa made his way back to the Dark Portal on his level 40 Shaman. Unfortunately, he realized too late that Astral Recall does not work while in combat, and he had already deleted his Hearthstone.
loltyler1 had another unfortunate dungeon mishap during his first Sunken Temple run. After a few mistimed Taunts, tyler1 was put to sleep by Shade of Eranikus’s Deep Slumber, causing the healer of the group, DJP to pull aggro and die.
One day later, tyler1’s dungeon partner, sealion, made an error while completing the Set Them Ablaze! quest in Searing Gorge. His Hunter was level 53 when he took his final step.
After completing Maraudon, kersplode’s dungeon group began to hearth out. Unfortunately, kersplode left some totems on the ground and a group of patrolling Theradrim Guardians entered combat with them. This caused kersplode to enter combat as well, canceling his Astral Recall. Like Laeppa, kersplode did not have a Hearthstone, and he was trapped alone in the dungeon.
While working on the Marg Speaks quest on the coast of Dustwallow Marsh, Payo came face-to-face with a group of Muckshell Razorclaws, who run away at low health. Luckily, Payo was able to utilize his Rogue’s toolkit to escape death.
During a Zul’Farrak run, Pontus’s level 46 Warrior met his demise when Hydromancer Velratha was accidentally pulled by the Shaman’s totems. Though the team acted swiftly, they did not have enough resources to deal with the Hex ability of the Sandfury Shadowhunters.
On his way to level 60, MOONMOON decided to visit the Quel’Lithien Lodge in Eastern Plaguelands. While he was nearly successful in his attempt to flee the hostile area, the level 60 Rangers were in hot pursuit and ended his Mage’s life at level 59.
While Sardaco did make it to level 60 on his Warrior, he could not withstand the Shield Slam of the Rage Talon Dragon Guard combined with the Fire Nova of the Rage Talon Fire Tongue in Upper Blackrock Spire.
Finally, while attempting to solo Prince Galen Trollbane on his level 42 Monk (Staff-only Warrior with Cloth Chest), Xaryu survived the encounter at 2% hp with 8 seconds of a DoT remaining.
