Acquiring this pet requires a little work. You need to be wearing a Winter Veil transmog. Four matching pieces from the Smokywood Pastures Holiday Vendors or a temporary outfit from the Disposable Winter Veil Suits should work.
Smokywood Pastures Holiday Vendors:
Penney Copperpinch in Orgrimmar and Wulmort Jinglepocket in Ironforge
Once you have your outfit, head over to the Old Hillsbrad Foothills dungeon and hunt for your Dreaming Festive Reindeer. It seems to only have one location as shown in the below image, and is easily recognizable due to its sparkling Yuletide Dreams buff.
- Make sure that you are wearing your transmog, if you are not, the reindeer will disappear.
- We found that the vest transmog didn’t work to see the Reindeer. We have confirmed that you need matching pieces and that the boots and belt, shorts or pants, and coat work.
- A temporary outfit from the Disposable Winter Veil Suits toy is supposed to work but we couldn’t get it to. Perhaps you have to keep clicking until you get the right outfit? To be on the safe side, go to the vendors.
Rare Spawn Version
There are two versions of this reindeer, one with a glowing nose and one without. Which one spawns for you is random, but the glowing nose version is much rarer. You can reset the dungeon until you get the version you want. You can easily see which you have before trying to tame it; that nose is bright!
