Break the Meta with Raider.IO
All you need to do is register for the event on Raider.IO and complete at least two +5 or higher keystones with eligible groups to earn the banner!
The Competition Period lasts for one full reset over the last week of June in each region:

Break the Meta is a staple event that takes place once per Mythic+ Season. It’s all about showcasing that even high-level keystones can be completed without a full meta comp, or even without a single meta character. Past BTM events have seen full off-meta compositions achieve great heights… including dungeons up to +17 in Season 1 of The War Within, just a few levels shy of the highest dungeons on record for the entire season.
So rally the group chat and pop on some tunes, because Break the Meta isn’t a regular event… it’s a cool event. 💅

Prized Banner of the Algari
We are once again partnering with Blizzard for BTM to provide players another opportunity to earn the Prized Banner of the Algari! This in-game toy was made available to participants of the MDI Time Trials this Season. The opportunities to get this exclusive toy are few and far between, so we’re excited to provide one more chance to collect this awesome in-game item through Break the Meta!
Register for the event and complete at least TWO (2) BTM-Eligible or MVM-Eligible keystones at level +10 or higher during BTM Week, and the Prized Banner of the Algari will be automatically added to your collection in-game approximately 30 days after winners are announced.

World of Warcraft Game Time
Break the Meta is, after all, a competition, so we will be awarding this set of prizes to the winners of the event! The players who achieve the highest Mythic+ Character Score for each BTM-Eligible specialization in each of the three eligible regions will win 60 days of WoW Game Time. With 25 eligible specs, that’s a grand total of 75 winners!
BTM Prize Bundle
We always prefer to be able to award one prize that does not have any requirements in terms of keystone levels or Raider.IO Score, to give all players an opportunity to win something. This Season, we’re once again offering the BTM Prize Bundle, a collection of the following wondrous in-game prizes:
- 60 days World of Warcraft Game Time
- IRL Transmog! – 1x Raider.IO Shirt
- Imperial Quilen Blizzard Store Mount
- Lucky Quilen Cub Blizzard Store Pet
This season’s BTM Prize Bundle.
In order to win the BTM Prize Bundle, you must complete BTM-Eligible or MVM-Eligible dungeons in-time during BTM Week while using the Raider.IO Desktop App with Live Tracking enabled. Every completed keystone, regardless of level, earns you 1 entry into the raffle, and one lucky winner will be chosen after the event ends! There is only one BTM Prize Bundle between both BTM and MVM events, so raffle entries from both will be pooled into one lottery.
Entries into the raffle for the BTM Prize Bundle are on an individual basis — that is to say that even if someone in your dungeon group is using Live Tracking, you will only get an entry if you are Live Tracking as well. Please see Rules regarding eligibility of physical prizes.
