Although called Limits Unbound, the limit is actually bound to a max of 999 ranks.
Even more amazing is that these players did it twice. The group was already around rank 650, before Blizzard rolled everyone back to 10 million this past Tuesday. Starting again from rank 200, the group settled in for a hellacious grind, predominantly chain running +20-30 Arcway keys for nearly 55 hours before maxing out their artifacts.
Shortly after the rollback, many artifacts showed a power deficit.
The Group
- Erxi (Protection Paladin)- Former raid leader of Aster, raider in Skyline and Alpha, MDI competitor, Huya streamer, nicknamed “wild dog (野狗)”
- Lhfs (Protection Warrior) – Retail Mythic+ player, multiple Hall of Fame raider, Raider.IO China Community Liaison, and Douyu streamer
- Ruancool (Unholy Death Knight) – Raider in Identity, former Skyline, and MDI competitor
- Addhh (Vengeance Demon Hunter) – Retail Mythic+ player
- Feifei (Protection Warrior) – Retail Mythic+ player
Lhfs
I lost track of exactly how many hours were spent grinding, but we completed a total of 278 Arcway and reached rank 999 at 10/17/2025 15:34 UTC+8, around 55 hours after infinite power was reset.
How We Did It
Because it’s the fastest dungeon, we used Erxi’s streamer influence to get as many Arcway keys as possible, starting at +20 after reset, then focusing on +26-35 keys. Sleeping only 2-4 hours each day, we would also take turns eating — afking in the dungeon, while the other players kept farming. Daily Mythic raids were also a chance to rest, since one player could solo while the others took a break.
Stream viewers joined a queue to “donate” their keys. We would call the next player’s name when the current run was about to finish, asking them to wait at the entrance while we reset – invite the viewer – viewer zones in – we carry the run – remove the viewer from the party – and repeat. Splitting players up to each kill a different boss then meet back at the entrance for the final one, each run was extremely fast, with a top speed record of completing +30 Arcway in 1 minute and 39 seconds.
We had five players and mostly ran stream viewer keys, so we were often running two teams at a time. Nearly everyone who donated a key immediately jumped to the top of their class Mythic+ keystone leaderboard!
Didn’t even break a sweat!
Pushing Mythic+100 Keystones
Putting all of this power to the test, the group began pushing the limits of Mythic, quickly completing +80 and +90 keys. At this point, it starts to feel more like a real Mythic+ again, as tanks are the only ones capable of surviving, DPS get one shot by almost any mechanic, and healers are simply superfluous.
From +99 Eye to +103 Arcway.
Pushing up and over +100 keystones gets even more dicey, as even tanks start to die and cheat deaths like Battle-Scarred Veteran won’t necessarily save you. Despite the potential for the Light path Flight of the Val’kyr to keep players alive, the Fel artifact path remains best overall, as holding Vindicator’s Judgment to avoid a potential one shot simply costs too much in damage from not using Twisted Crusade instead.
We’ve also seen that the game stops displaying damage numbers over 536,683,800, which actually came up previously in Shadowlands as well. While not something players will normally run into, it’s a good indicator of the need for periodic stat squishes, if nothing else.
Even all this power won’t save you!
At this level, some dungeons are easier than others. The final boss of Maw of Souls health scales out of control, making the fight close to impossible, though Arcway, Court of Stars, Eye of Azshara, and Vault of the Wardens are all still fairly accessible.
Phase 2 will add a couple new challenges with The Return to Karazhan and Nighthold becoming available after the upcoming weekly reset (which is actually on Thursday in China), but there isn’t much else left for the group unless Blizzard decides to add more power in future phases. Currently holding a record +106 Court of Stars completed with 10 deaths in 25:19, Raider.IO lists them with a group score of 953,561.6 and the high individual player score of 3,030,047.6 rating, with the next highest groups still 30 or more keystone levels behind.
Feels good to be the king.
