Midnight OverviewWoW Secret Guides
Who Are the Mind-Seekers?
For the uninitiated, Secrets in WoW are hidden mind-bending puzzles that often require the involvement of the community in order to solve. Thousands of players scour the far corners of Azeroth in hopes of unearthing the next step often being rewarded with an exclusive mount, pet, or transmog upon completion.
One secret from Legion, the Riddle of the Mind-Seekers required deciphering clues from various pages across Azeroth that were directly connected to World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume I. Upon completion players were awarded the Riddler’s Mind-Worm from a mysterious chest, the Gift of the Mind-Seekers.
While not expressly stated, it’s often assumed that the ‘Mind-Seekers’ are the ones responsible for the Secrets. In the behind-the-scenes blog for Riddler’s Mind Worm, the Mind-Seekers address players directly taunting them about their inevitable return.
As a final note, the Mind-Seekers would like us to let you know that they will be seeing you again soon—and that your thoughts are delicious.

New Mind-Seeker Datamining in Midnight
Over the course of Midnight development, various datamining has suggested that we may learn more about the mysterious Mind-Seekers in Midnight, but may also officially join their ranks.
Mind-Seeker Title & Feat of Strength Achievement
In particular, the Mind-Seeker feat of strength suggests players will “join the secretive cabal of the Mind-Seekers” with the criteria being a particular quest of which the details remain hidden or unknown.
If we’re to join this mysterious organization, then perhaps we would don the title. While details about how or even if players will be able to obtain this new title, a number of new NPCs do sport this new identifier.
Jeremy Feasel, Riftah & Mind-Seeker NPCs
Jeremy Feasel
While not the first time we’ve encountered the NPC Jeremy Feasel in-game, this is the first time he’s sporting the <Mind-Seeker> title. We last saw this NPC named after the WoW developer Jeremy Feasel during the latest Indecipherable Felcycle Secret which eerily left off on a bit of a cliffhanger.
Riftah
Riftah on the other hand is likely a reference to Griftah, the <Amazing Amulets> vendor and legendary Hearthstone card who frequently shows up every expansion sporting amulets with abilities you ironically already have. What could a similarly named NPC be doing with the Mind-Seekers?
Anakron
Much less is known about Anakron though particularly observant players might recognize a similarly garbed NPC known as the Hooded Supplier in MoP and Legion Remix. What this mysterious merchant sells remains unknown especially considering his unusual Unfriendly status.
Interacting with the Hooded Supplier does offer some unique dialogue about his identity and origins:
Very well. My name is Anakron. I am involved in the cabal known as the Mind-Seekers. There are those who would employ me for my skills in cross-timeline trade. When I have no pressing matters, I entertain myself with the phenomenological, crafting conundrums for those who are willing to find them. You will say no more and tell no one of this. Our business here is finished.
As a cross-timeline merchant, his name does indeed appear to be a reference to an anachronism which is something that doesn’t belong in the time in which it appears. Beyond this interaction we don’t know much else, but we can be certain the Mind-Seekers have been keeping an eye on us for some time.
Sanctuary of the Mind-Seeker Zone & Spells
Where might we encounter these new NPCs or join the Mind-Seeker cabal? Why the Sanctuary of the Mind-Seekers of course! Little is known about this zone with no associated map or related data, but it sounds like a good location for a secret cabal.
Additionally, five new spells were recently added all with the same name that might be associated with a new secret:
Where Could the Secret Begin?
Based on the discovery of a new Jeremy Feasel NPC, it’s quite likely this new Secret could pick up where the last one left off. We last encountered Jeremy Feasel during the Indecipherable Felcycle Secret which ends rather abruptly without completing Ratt’s full story.
Although the penultimate step Felcycle secret awarded players with the mount, many things suggested the secret was not over. An alternative interpretation of the final code, 84847078, gives the code “TTFN,” a common abbreviation for “Ta-ta for now!”
Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle Secret
Will we finally meet the Mind-Seekers and join their ranks in Midnight? If we become Mind-Seekers, does that mean we’ll actively be involved in the creation of the next Secret?
