Fun Thematic Food
Goblins have one of the most distinctive aesthetics on Azeroth, and the new vendor food doesn’t disappoint. From eating literal car parts to imitation crab (because what casino doesn’t have imitation crab?), you’re sure to find something to munch on to restore your health and mana.
Well-Fed Effects
Beyond meeting the party-heavy theme requirements of Undermine and the Gallagio, some of the new foods provide well-fed bonuses. Well Hydrated and Greasy Well Fed are interesting takes on the buff mechanic, and could have some fun effects going forward if continued!
Use-on-Pickup Drinks
A particularly interesting subset of food is a series of drinks that function a bit differently than most food we’re used to – these can’t be used at will and saved for a later time, but instead are consumed on pickup, granting various stat bonuses. It will be interesting to see how these could be sprinkled into areas naturally around Undermine, leaving you to grab them from bars or tables to help questing in a pinch – or, possibly as D.R.I.V.E. bonus items that you consume as you drive over them!
