New Family Battler Achievements
As part of the Midnight Pre-Patch update, new Family Pet Battler achievements have been added to provide a new challenge for pet battlers in Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, and Northrend. However, these new achievements are not exactly for the faint of heart.
You’ll need to defeat the pet trainers of each zone multiple times, once each for a single pet family level 25 team. Do that for all 10 pet families and upwards of 12 trainers, and we’re talking about a lot of pet battling. Factor in that you can only defeat each trainer once per day and you’ll need 10 daily resets to complete these achievements.
Old World Family Battler
Old World Family Battler is the meta achievement that encapsulates both Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms offering a unique pet command toy for completing both of the below achievements.
Family Battler of Eastern Kingdoms
The Eastern Kingdoms achievement consists of 12 trainers across the continent and requires an Alliance character to complete. Players who complete the achievement will be rewarded with a corehound pet.
Byrn
Family Battler of Kalimdor
The Kalimdor achievement consists of 12 trainers across the continent and requires a Horde character to complete. Players who complete the achievement will be rewarded with a faerie dragon pet.
Moon Darter
Family Battler of Northrend
The Northrend achievement consists of far fewer trainers at 6 across the continent and can be completed with either faction. Players who complete the achievement will be rewarded with a baby Nerubian pet.
