Hunter Visuals Updated
The Patch 11.1 PTR received an update today, January 23rd, which made several changes to Hunters. Those changes included having new animations for a variety of different spells in the Hunter kit.

- Counter Shot visuals have been updated.
- Aspect of the Cheetah visuals have been updated.
- Hi-Explosive Trap visuals have been updated.
- Implosive Trap visuals have been updated.
- Posthaste visuals have been updated.
- Disengage visuals have been updated.
Beast Mastery
- Barbed Shot visuals have been updated.
One of the most important casts on their tree, Beast Master Hunters got a new look for their Barbed Shot casts. From the video below, you can see the Barbed Shot arrow now has a red outline to it making it much easier to see when shot at a target.
Hunters’ interrupt got a new look as well with the arrow having a trace of purple arcane energy when shot.
The movement abilities of the Hunter kit got some small touch ups to their animations. With Disengage, there is a gust on wind at the Hunter’s feet when they Disengage and a tailwind following the Hunter’s model when Posthaste is active.
Similar to Disengage and Posthaste, Aspect of the Cheetah also has a tailwind on the Hunter model when cast.
Lastly, the explosive traps for Hunters got more animations added to indicate what type of trap it is. For the Hi-Explosive Trap, there is a larger explosion at the base of the trap to help distinguish the knockback effect. The Implosive Trap has more vertical smoke in its explosion to help distinguish the knock-up effect of the trap.
