A new Classic-only pet is available from the 6 and 12 month WoW subscription. [source]
Subscription Reward
Players that have an active 6 or 12 month subscription will receive Sa’bak’s Favored, a pet that can be learned and summoned on Classic WoW realms, plus a matching-theme mount (pictured above).
The subscription rewards will be delivered to eligible recipients no later than July 31, 2025. Instead of going directly into your pet and mount tab, they must be redeemed via the Bnet App. A small gift icon will appear next to the notifications (bell) icon, and clicking on it will allow you to claim both items.
Because this is a Classic-only companion, it will take a little longer to add it to the WarcraftPets database. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
If you’re not interested in collecting the Classic-only pet, there’s a Retail version that uses the same look.
Sa’bak’s Blessed (pictured right), purchasable from the Blizzard Pet Store, costs $10 USD, and can only be summoned in Retail WoW.
Although it shares the same appearance as its Classic counterpart, they do not share the same name. This is similar to past subscription pet rewards and store pets, such as Swoopy (Classic) and Whoopy (Retail).
