Concentration
Concentration is a brand new finite resource for crafters. Every profession comes with 1000 Concentration that is unique to that specific character and their profession. This means that if a player has Enchanting and Tailoring, they will have 1000 Concentration for Enchanting and 1000 Concentration for Tailoring to use independently.
Players can choose to use their Concentration to improve the quality of their craft to the next best tier. For example, if a player can only craft a Quality 3 armor piece with their current Specializations, they can choose to use their Concentration to improve the craft to Quality 4. The amount of Concentration needed to improve the craft depends on your Skill level and the Quality level of the item. Using Concentration at Quality 4 to reach Quality 5 will be much more expensive compared to Quality 1 to reach Quality 2.
Concentration slowly recharges every few minutes. Currently, players will receive 1 Concentration every 6 minutes, or 10 every 1 hour.

Ingenuity
Spending Concentration is costly, however, Ingenuity allows players to have the opportunity to receive some of their Concentration back. Players will gain points in Ingenuity through their Specializations and Profession Equipment. These points translate into a % chance that players can proc when they spend their Concentration, causing an Ingenious Breakthrough. By default, a breakthrough will refund 50% of your Concentration used on that particular craft. For example, if a player spends 250 Concentration to improve their craft and Ingenuity procs, they will receive 125 Concentration back. Crafters can also choose to improve their refund percentage up to 100% through their Specializations.
Guaranteeing Crafts
In addition to these new stats, The War Within’s quality system has also slightly changed. In Dragonflight, players had to rely on Inspiration to create many high-end crafts. If a player wanted to craft a Quality 3 high-end reagent, or Quality 5 Profession Tool, they would only have a percent chance of doing so. In The War Within, this is no longer the case. Players can avoid using Ingenuity and Concentration by having a fully skilled crafter. This means that they are fully maxed out in their Profession Level, have all their Specializations maxed out related to the craft, have all Rare Quality Profession Equipment, and use Quality 3 Reagents to craft the item.
