Diablo 4 Not Finding A Cow Level Discord
It has been almost 10 months since the last secret finding update, where the steps to finally unlocking the Forlorn Hovel after slaying legions of cows was discovered by the Not Finding A Cow Level Discord. Now, a secret that has puzzled them for over a year has finally been discovered – the long-theorized Wishing Well Event has not only been completed, it has been confirmed to reward the Ring of Misfortune, a Unique ring that was found in the game files early in the life of Diablo 4.
Reddit user Sowhatsthecatch posted that the long-elusive ring had been found, crediting users nova_sgx, Jimpen, Tweaked, Teire, and Raffi1337 for their contributions in solving this mystery. YouTube account Nora uploaded the following video to YouTube, outlining the steps to complete the puzzle:

This is the Ring of Misfortune, a reward for the Lucky Coin secret quest. When one of each class throws the Lucky Coin into the Wishing Well in Scosglen, this is the result. The Well-Wisher title and the Ring of Misfortune.
The Lucky Coin was looted (thanks to Discord user Jimpen) by using a Greed Shrine and looting the corpse of the soldier who gets his face smashed in (mini event). The exact method we’re still a little shaky on but the Greed Shrine seems to be a prerequisite.

Obtaining the Lucky Coin
A group of five players with characters of each class is required for this – so find some friends! Everyone needs to loot the corpse of an NPC that gets killed by a monster during a random world event while being under the effect of a Greed Shrine. The corpse drops the Lucky Coin which is needed for the next step.

Wishing Well Event
After obtaining the Lucky Coin, head to the East of Cerrigar (Scosglen) to the Wishing Well.
The Wishing Well is located to the East of Cerrigar in Scosglen.
All five players need to click on the interactable Wishing Well (one after another) while having the Lucky Coin in their inventory. This will grant everyone the “Well-Wisher” title.
Ring of Misfortune Reward
After throwing all five Lucky Coins into the Wishing Well, meteors will start raining from the sky and after a few seconds, the Ring of Misfortune Unique Ring will drop for everyone who has participated in the event.
The community hopes that this find is connected to finding the Secret Cow Level in Diablo 4, but according to Sowhatsthecatch, the original poster on Reddit, “there’s currently no indication that it is tied to anything further, but progress is progress”.
While it may not lead to a moo-rderous discovery related to the hidden cow level, another Diablo 4 secret has been found – congratulations to the brilliant group effort of all involved!
