The Secret Fifth Cartel – Darkfuse Solutions
The secret fifth cartel of Undermine is a rather shady one: Darkfuse Solutions.
Darkfuse Solutions is the Cartel created by Gallywix to “protect” the people and assets of Undermine (by really protecting Gallywix all along). The Darkfuse are treated as enemies through all of the main storyline in Undermine leading to the Liberation of Undermine raid. Their faction description mentions them wanting to start over after Gallywix is deposed as Trade Prince.
Darkfuse Solutions did not make friends working for Gallywix, but giving up isn’t the goblin way. They’re back with a new brand, a new attitude, and hey, it was just business, right?
It is currently unknown how exactly we will become allies with the Darkfuse, but this will likely take place after clearing the Liberation of Undermine raid (and will likely not be tested during the 11.1 PTR cycle, as Gallywix is not testable at all).
Gallywix is confirmed to get a Story Mode difficulty just like the one Queen Ansurek had in Nerub-ar Palace, so if this is the intended way to unlock Darkfuse Solutions, it should not take long for players to unlock this cartel.
Farming Darkfuse Solutions Reputation
We know the reputation of the Cartels of Undermine (and the four individual main cartels) is farmed via completing weekly tasks in Undermine. Darkfuse Solutions reputation will likely be farmed in a different manner. A new datamined currency, Market Research, implies we’ll need to farm these and turn them in to the Darkfuse to help them figure out where to turn their focus on this new venture.
It is currently completely unknown how we’ll farm this market research for them.
