Unfortunately for Blizzard, this Mind Soothe hotfix didn’t actually resolve the issue and just makes it harder to execute and require even more things from the composition rather than just a simple Mind Soothe.
Why Skip Dragon Gauntlet?
The main question of why you should skip the Halls of Infusion Dragon Gauntlet is for 2 main reasons:
- Pulling a straight line in Halls of Infusion, you are over count.
- The Dragons even post-nerf deal a lot of damage, since the up front damage wasn’t nerfed.
The Mind Soothe hotfix didn’t address any of the reasons that players were looking to skip this, so players continue to look to find ways around it and unfortunately, instead of making it more accessible by removing stealth detection, Blizzard has made it even harder and require more specific classes/races.
Even if they fix this, Death skipping may be an option as well.
How to Skip Dragon Gauntlet (Post Hotfix)
Players have found out that you can already skip the Dragon Gauntlet post hotfix with no deaths (when executed correctly). However, it has a lot more requirements now. \

Requirements
Here is what you need now:
Strategy
Here’s the step-by-step process:
- Mind Soothe the first patrol and hug the left wall.
- Cross to the right side and have your tank pull the 2nd dragon to the left wall.
- The group should not get in combat and walk past the Dragon to the other side.
- The Tank should use their mobility or Bestow Weyrnstone and Shadowmeld to drop combat
- Mind Soothe the final pack and jump over the rock.
