Power Leveling Gear is Now Dead in Legion Remix – Fixed Item Level Loot Removed from Mythic+

In a hotfix to Legion Remix today, Legion Remix Mythic+ gear has altered and power leveling a new character’s gear is now dead. Previously, Mythic+ in Legion Remix awarded fixed gear per keystone level (i.e. 675 item level for a +30). This meant that if you have carrier(s) that can carry a fresh alt or new character, you could easily catch them up or quickly gear their character skipping the majority of the grind! This was the only system in Legion Remix that didn’t use the watermarking system, allowing you to power level a character, but it has now been removed.

The best strategy for gearing up a character was to get carried in Mythic+ as high as possible to get a higher starting off point before opening things like Mote of a Broken Time and Cache of Infinite Power. This is no longer the case and players will have to do the grind on every character, slowly bringing up their watermark in order to gear up. The increased drops of Mote of a Broken Time will make it more worthwhile though as Mythic+ is a great source of Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges if you also want Infinite Power.
