STO: PC Patch Notes for 9/12/23

Event – Borg Tesseract:

• This Featured Event will be a standalone event, separate from the Event Campaign. This new event will provide participating Captains with an epic reward: The Adaptation Ground Set!
  • Captains can earn one daily progress per account per day by playing any of the following:
    • “Taken by Surprise” (New episode)
    • “Wish Upon a Star” (Episode)
    • Guillotine (New Space TFO)
    • Resistance of Starbase One (New Space TFO)
• Rewards:
  • Accruing a total of 20 points of Daily Progress will allow you to claim The Adaptation Ground Set!
  • Bonus Rewards:
    • After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion.
  • Zen Buyout Option:
    • For players interested in instantly completing the Borg Tesseract event, we will be offering an updated method for buying out.
      • Within the new Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress that you need, for a scaling amount of Zen.

New Content:

• Discover “Taken by Surprise”, a brand-new Episode being featured in the Mission Journal as well as being included as part of the event!
• Participate in the new Task Force Operation, “Guillotine”, a companion TFO for the Taken by Surprise episode as part of the new Season, Incursion!
• Participate in the new Task Force Operation, “Resistance of Starbase One”, a reimagining of the Defense of Starbase One Task Force Operation as part of the new Season, Incursion!

General:

• Resolved an issue that prevented Jem’hadar captains from using Duty Officer consoles on some bridges.
   

Known Issues:

• Currently, Captains may not get event progress on the replay of the episode “Taken by Surprise”.
• There is an issue with the episode “Temporal Ambassador” that sometimes causes one of the enemy ships to never die blocking progression in the episode.
