Sold by Tattukiaka in Iskaara, the Ivory Trader’s Ottuk and Iskaara Trader’s Ottuk mounts are unique in that they aren’t purchased with a common currency or gold. Instead, they require specific accessory drops from Dragonflight dungeons and raids. At the time, most players would need a group to even see them drop, which could make them highly contested for players that either wanted to use the items or collect the mounts for themselves.
It’s more of a barter system.
The Ivory Trader’s Ottuk requires three specific rings from Dragonflight dungeons, which can be obtained on any difficulty. Note that Al’gathar Academy can only be entered on normal difficulty at this time, perhaps because it is already considered part of the upcoming Midnight Season 1 dungeon pool.
The Iskaara Trader’s Ottuk requires two specific amulets from Vault of the Incarnates. Neither should present much of a challenge, though there is quite a bit of running involved.
Due to the nature of random drops, it may still take several tries to obtain the necessary items, though remember that normal dungeons have no lockout outside of the regular instance limit per hour and the raid bosses can be looted separately on each difficulty per week. Players also don’t need to complete the entire dungeon or raid, just the individual boss.
Sometimes you’re just that lucky!
